Bespoke Golf Trophies You Say?

This is just a little plug for my Father and Sister-in-law’s company that makes bespoke golf trophies. They put tons of effort into making these things and they’re all very impressive when you see them in real life. Big and heavy and substantial – just like a trophy or award should be.

They design the moulds and make all the trophies by hand. They can also create a trophy or award especially for your event. Check out their bronze sculpture site to see how they make the awards and how you can commission one.

I had a little hand in building the websites – the eCommerce store uses Magento and the scultpure site is WordPress and a theme called Big Blue I think. Most of the words were written by my Father-in-law and my lovely wife (his daughter) Elisabeth.

My Netbook Site Didn’t Sell

It may be because the netbook market is running away from the tablet market – or that I didn’t communicate to potential buyers how ace owning a niche comparison site is (in terms of getting chicks).

Anyway I offered the co-owner £700 for the half of it I don’t own, which is very generous considering it only makes that a year, and he accepted.

Aparently the netbook market will decline slowly until 2015 as sales are nibbled away at by tablets (shit netbooks without keyboards) and ultrabooks (powerful netbooks/shit laptops).

I want to redevelop the site at some point to be something like this laptop price comparison site but in the near future I want to concentrate on writing a sitcom.

You heard me. A sitcom. Probably about the internet and kittens.

I bought this boat with a mate. Me and him have kayaked for years and loved it. We wanted to upgrade to powered craft. Turns out he gets terribly sea sick if he’s not paddling or steering the boat. Hence we are selling our beloved craft.

This is a peach of an engine. We bought it with a boat a guy from littlehampton yacht club, who bought the engine off another member who said he got it from the RNLI.

It starts on the button and has some service history. Here’s some of the spec:
